EDTA Tube
A blood collection tube used in the laboratory that contains the anti-coagulation substance EDTA (specifically KS EDTA).
Plasma
The product obtained after spinning (centrifuging) an EDTA tube sample.
EDTA Volume
The amount of blood required for the tube, which is 2−4,m] or determined by checking the tube mark.
Mix Tube Procedure
The requirement to mix the tube gently and immediately until thorough after blood has been added.
