A set of laws created by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian.
Plague of Justinian
An outbreak of disease faced by the Byzantine Empire during the reign of Justinian.

The Byzantine emperor who began the Golden Age of Byzantium and improved art, literature, and architecture.
Basil II
A Byzantine emperor who defeated the Bulgarians, expanded the empire, and supported farmers and soldiers.
Hagia Sophia
An important and significant building located in the Byzantine Empire.

The city associated with the Byzantine Empire and its emperors.
