Neutral point
Also known as the Null point, it is the location where the net electric field is zero.
Neutral point (unequal like charges)
Positioned closer to the smaller charge.
Neutral point (unequal unlike charges)
Positioned outside the charges.
Electric flux formula
EAcos(θ)
Angle θ (Electric Flux)
The angle between the electric field and the area vector.
Maximum electric flux
Occurs when the angle θ=0∘.
Zero electric flux
Occurs when the angle θ=90∘.
Area vector
A vector that is always perpendicular to the surface.
SI unit of electric flux
N⋅m2/C
