what is a stressor?

changes in sleeping patterns and eating patterns, loss of interest in everyday activities, decline in school performance, feelings of hopelessness, apathy

self-care, creating a support system, and getting professional help
what is self-esteem?
a person’s overall emotional evaluation of their own worth.
how do you boost your self-esteem?
self affirmations, practicing good hygiene, recognizing and embracing positive qualities, avoiding negativity, staying active, having a good support system, being kind to yourself, cultivating positive relationships and doing power poses.
what is empathy?
the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and experiencing the feelings, thoughts, or experiences of another
what are the three skills of empathy?
listening closely, recognizing the other person’s feelings, and accepting their feelings.
