Direct and indirect object pronouns
Los pronombres de complemento directo e indirecto, Pronombres de objeto directo e indirecto (object can be complemento or objeto)
A direct object is the person or thing that directly receives the action or effect of the verb. It answers the question "what" or "whom."
Un objeto directo es la persona o cosa que recibe directamente la acción o el efecto del verbo. Responde a la pregunta "qué" o "quién".
An indirect object answers the question "for what," "of what," "to what," "for whom," "of whom," or "to whom" and accompanies a direct object.
Un objeto indirecto responde a la pregunta "para qué", "de qué", "a qué", "para quién", "de quién" o "a quién" y acompaña a un objeto directo.

Direct object pronouns (la, lo, las, los) are used to talk about something or someone that is already known.
Los pronombres de complemento directo (la, lo, las, los) se usan para hablar de algo o alguien que ya se conoce.
I drink it for breakfast (coffee)

I don't like to eat sweets, so I never buy them.

With reflexive verbs, lo, la, los, las go between the reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos, os, se) and the verb

In other words, the subject and direct object of the reflexive verb are the same.

reflexive verbs in Spanish are used when a person performs an action to herself or for herself. For example, I wake (myself) up, he gets (himself) dressed, she showers (herself).
