Wipe hands with a towel from the mayo stand

Dispose the towel

Open the gown package on mayo stand

Open the gown like an envelope

Open the glove package on the mayo stand

Grab gown from the Mayo stand carefully

Wear it, make sure the gown is “smiling face in front.”

Circling rn cuffs the gown behind you

Grab the gloves from the Mayo stand without your bare finger ( your hands should be still in the sleeves

Wear the gloves for each one

Grab the tag and remove the small string of your gown (left side)

Give the card to your RN

Turn counterclockwise and pull the card from the nurse

Tie the strings together

Crab claw everything to keep sterile gloves from touching non-sterile surfaces.

Hands hold in a prayer and against from your gloves then begin surgery

When removing gown after surgery, lessen your sleeves from your gloves

Grab and strongly remove the bottom part of the gown away from you

Remove gown and ball it up to dispose it

To remove gloves, pinch the outside of one glove and pull it off without touching the skin. Grasp it into a ball

To remove other glove, use your bare finger and pull it under the lip.

Ball it and dispose the gloves

When about to wear the gloves:

Words of the gloves should be facing down while the fingers of the glove be pointing towards you on your wrist.
