Low 2 (0-25mph) is used when driving in snow
Low 1 (0-12mph) can be used when going up or down very steep grades when pulling heavy loads
Overdrive (OD)
driving in overdrive saves fuel and limits engine strain. Automatically activates at 40-45mph
