Treatment: oral/topical antibiotics hospitalization for systemic infection (Stap)
Dermatitis
General term that describes inflammation of the skin-can be caused by chemicals, allergies, etc.
Treatment: based on cause, corticosteriod creams, oral steroids
Eczema
A condtion that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin-otherwise known as atopic dermatitis, this is not contagious
Treatment: topical or systemic steroids, NSAIDS for discomfort

Treatment: chemical hair treatments, remove eggs/ice
Gout
Excessive accumulation of uric acid in a joint, forms crystals in the joint
Symptoms: pain, red, hot, swollen-most common in big toe
Tx: anti-inflammatory, diet changes
