What is particle theory of matter?
A way to describe the structure of matter and how it moves
Is there a limit to how many times matter can be crushed and still be the same thing
Yes the smallest thing it can be is a particle
What is all matter composed out of
Particles
Can you see particles
No, not even with a microscope
Do particles have space around them
Yes always
How does the space between particles vary
Depends on the state of matter
Do particles move all the time
Yes. Solids it can be bunched together vibrating and in gas it can be wherever with a bunch of space
Explain how the attraction of particles in a substance vary for different states of matter
For solids the attraction is strong because the particles are close together. For liquids the attraction isn’t as strong and they can just slide past each other
