Pop Trolls
A tribe of trolls led by Queen Poppy who value music with upbeat melodies and catchy rhythms that make people want to dance.

The glitter-covered baby son of Guy Diamond who is a hip-hop musician with "the groove in his bones."
Cooper
A troll who is discovered to be a Funk Troll and the long-lost twin brother of Prince D.
Pinky Promise
An unbreakable oath, referred to as an "erewoord," which Queen Poppy pledges to Biggie as a guarantee of his safety.
Smooth Jazz
A genre used by the bounty hunter Chaz to paralyze and captivate listeners with its "soothing" and "vague" sounds.
Hickory
A Yodeler troll disguised as a Country Troll who helps Poppy but was originally hired as a bounty hunter by Barb.
Rock Zombies
Trolls who have been transformed by the power of the ultimate guitar solo to follow only Rock music, losing their original personalities.
Harmony
The concept realized by Poppy at the end of the journey, meaning that true unity requires different, diverse voices rather than everyone being the same.
Prince D
The twin brother of Cooper and a Prince of Funk who explains that the Pop Trolls were once the ones who tried to steal all the strings in the past.
The Yodelers
Bounty hunters, including Hickory and Dickory, who agreed to capture Poppy in exchange for Barb sparing their specific musical territory.
Delta Dawn
The leader of the Country Trolls who imprison Poppy, Branch, and Biggie after they attempt to perform a pop medley.
