CPU Socket?

A CPU socket is the physical connector on a motherboard that links your processor to the rest of the system

What is the difference between CPU and CPU Socket

The socket must match the CPU

What is the phenomenon of Throttling

The CPU generates intense heat. If cooling is not maintained, the phenomenon of Throttling occurs, where the CPU reduces its speed to protect itself.

What is the Thermal Paste

Thermal Paste comes in; it fills microscopic gaps between the CPU and the heatsink, and it is absolutely essential.

What is the Cores

Cores provide parallel processing power (Multitasking).

What is the Threads

Threads are like the efficiency enhancement provided by technologies like Hyper Threading/SMT, allowing a single core to work on two tasks simultaneously.

For example:

if we have 4 cores and 8 Threads,

that means 1 core have 2 threads

and 4 cores = 8 threads.
