Dispersal of herbaceous monocots
If it’s fleshy, it’s bird dispersed. Formosan Lily and agapanthus are wind dispersed, as are grasses. Trad is fragments. Spider is plantlets. Umbrella is gravity.

Wind, except bidens, St Johns wort, and sida (attachment), creeping buttercup (water), mother of millions (plantlets), and plantago, turkey thubarb, purple top and coreopsis (gravity).

Hand pull or spray, except Turkey rhubarb (trowel and spray), and coreopsis, plantago and St John’s Wort (crown and spray)

Hand weed juveniles, scrape and paint or spray older. Trowel Maderia vine (tubers) and Japanese honeysuckle, cut and paint moth vine

Crown and strong spray. 3-6 months

Fishbone only! Spores and rhizomes. Handpull or strong spray. 3-6 months

Madeira is vegetative tubers, morning glory vegetative fragments, mothvine and cats claw are wind, balloon vine water. Japanese honeysuckle is birds AND stolons and rhizones. Others are bird dispersed.
