Occipitofrontalis
Origin: Superior nuchal line, Insertion: Galea aponeurotica, Nerve Supply: CNVII.
Temporalis
Origin: Temporal lines, Insertion: Coronoid process, Nerve Supply: CNV.
Orbicularis Oris
Origin: Muscle fibers around mouth, Insertion: Mucous membrane of lips, Nerve Supply: CNVII.
Buccinator
Origin: Lateral aspects of maxilla and mandible, Insertion: Orbicularis oris, Nerve Supply: CNVII.
Platysma
Origin: Fascia of deltoid and pectoralis major muscles, Insertion: Mandible, skin of lower face, muscles at corners of mouth, Nerve Supply: CNVII.
Masseter
Origin: Zygomatic arch, Insertion: Lateral aspect of Mandibular ramus and angle, Nerve Supply: CNV.
Sternocleidomastoid
Origin: Clavicle, manubrium, Insertion: Mastoid process, Nerve Supply: CNXI.
Trapezius
Origin: External occipital protuberance, nuchal ligament, spinous process of vertebrae C7-T12, Insertion: Clavicle, acromion, scapular spine, Nerve Supply: CNXI.
Superior Rectus
Eye muscle that elevates the eye.
Inferior Rectus
Eye muscle that depresses the eye.
Medial Rectus
Eye muscle that moves the eye medially.
Lateral Rectus
Eye muscle that moves the eye laterally.
Superior Oblique
Eye muscle that allows for downward and lateral movement.
Inferior Oblique
Eye muscle that allows for upward and lateral movement.
