Second Amendment

Ensures the right to keep and bear arms.

Third Amendment

Provides protection from the quartering of troops in private homes.

Fourth Amendment

Protects against unreasonable search and seizure.

Fifth Amendment

Ensures right to due process and protects against self-incrimination and double jeopardy.

Sixth Amendment

Guarantees the right to a fair and speedy trial, right to counsel, and right to confront witnesses.

Seventh Amendment

Ensures the right to a jury trial in civil cases.

Eighth Amendment

Protects against excessive bail, excessive fines, and cruel and unusual punishment.

Ninth Amendment

Protects rights not specifically enumerated in the Constitution.

Tenth Amendment

States that powers not delegated to the federal government are reserved to the states or the people.
