Berlo's SMCR Model of Communication
A Linear model that breaks communication into Source, Message, Channel, and Receiver. Emphasizes how the skills, attitudes, knowledge, and senses of both sender and receiver affect the process. Focuses on the psychological aspect and needs people to be on the same level to communicate.

the way the message is delivered and it is the medium of transaction

the response the receiver gives back to the sender

anything that blocks or distorts the message
