What is the structure of the bronchioles like?
There is no cartilage, only smooth muscle
What does autonomic control regulate?
Smooth muscle, controlling the diameter of bronchioles, and airflow and resistance in the lungs

Constriction of bronchi, caused by parasympathetic ANS activation (rest and digest response) or histamine release in allergic reactions
