In an organization, people work together to accomplish tasks and achieve goals that cannot be achieved by an individual. According to Netting, Kettner, and McMurtry (as cited in Zastrow, 1996), Organizations are important for social work practice. Furthermore, they explained that social workers are defined through the roles they play, the interactions they initiate, and their control of the organizations that provide help.
