Oh um, hi, my name is the Telepathic Plant… I can talk to plants… telepathically

“I know what people are feeling.”

Oh like telepathy?

“No.”

Then like what?

“I just feel the vibes, you know?”

N-no I don’t-

“So it’s my understanding that the majority of you are here because you struggle with things like self confidence, not feeling seen, feelings of uselessness…”

“Why, what would ever lead you to such a miserable conclusion as that?”

Well, as much as I love my powers it can be really overwhelming at times. Ordinary people such as you wouldn’t ever understand but plant life can be very chatty and rambunctious. It seems like the roses are all so cliquey and make fun of the tulips, who will spread rumors about the sunflowers and daisies to all of the weeds, and they all seek me for help resolving their quarrels but it’s so hard because I can never get to the root of the problem-

“That sounds like a lot of responsibility.”

It is. And it’s exhausting.”

“I think I’m noticing some similarities between you two.”

What do you mean?

“I understand that having superpowers can be a big responsibility but if you’re always listening to what others want from you you’ll never hear your own inner voice tell you what you need.”

So you’re saying that I can’t talk to all of my plant friends anymore?

“I went to elementary school with her!”
