Swimming
The act of moving through water by using the arms and legs, typically for recreation, exercise, or competition. It can involve various strokes such as freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly.
Freestyle
A swimming stroke where the swimmer propels themselves forward using alternating arm and leg movements, often considered the fastest and most popular stroke. It is characterized by a face-down position in the water and a flutter kick.
Butterfly
A challenging swimming stroke featuring simultaneous arm recovery over the water and a powerful dolphin kick.
Breaststroke
A swimming stroke characterized by a frog-like kick and a distinctive arm movement where the arms sweep outwards and then back to the chest, usually performed face-down.
Backstroke
A stroke where A swimmer is on their back, and moving their arms in a curcular motion
