Dystopian start

This the first chapter of the novel. It introduces the reader about the Nadia's point of view about the situation happening in the country. Nadia, one of the protagonist of the novel is a clinical psychologist who was transferred to Murree to write a report about a political prisoner named, Dr. Hayder. This chapter open the moral questions about the report which she was assigned to write. The report was just an excuse because the Supreme State has already decided to hang Dr. hayder. The report is just to give the punishment a human face.

In this chapter, the reader is introduced to Nadia, a clinical psychologist, who offers her perspective on the political situation in her country while she is assigned to write a report about Dr. Hayder, a political prisoner slated for execution.

depicts the grim realities and moral dilemmas faced by individuals under an oppressive regime, highlighting themes of government control and personal integrity.
