What is trial and error?
The process where one learns by making mistakes, fixing them, and try again.

What is a dead load?
The weight of a material used to construct something, like a building or bridge.
What is a live load?
The temporary weight the structure supports, for a bridge, live load might be cars, and in a skyscraper, it could be humans.
What are the 3 major types of bridges?
A beam bridge, arch bridge, and suspension bridge.
Describe a beam bridge:
A horizontal surface supported by a column on either end, and it’s weaker than other bridges and spans the least distance.
Describe an arch bridge:
Flat on top and supported below by material in the shape of a semi circle.
Describe a suspension bridge:
Can span long distances, the road hangs from steel cables draped across towers. The cables are anchored in concrete t the end of the bridges.
