Raceme
Has a major inflorescence axis, and the flowers to become on pedicels that are all approximately the same length
Catkins
Are similar to racemes, differing in that the flowers are imperfect either staminate or carpellate, and all flowers of a single must have both staminate catkins and carpellate ones
Spike
Is a similar to a raceme except that the flowers are sessile, lacking a pedicel
