To provide high-quality individual, couple, and family therapy in a warm, inclusive environment using evidence-based interventions.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

What makes the clinic different from many therapy practices?
It is a training facility staffed by student therapists.
Why are sessions recorded?
For supervision purposes.
Where are recordings stored?
On a HIPAA-compliant encrypted server.
Who can access session recordings?
Only the student therapist and supervisor.
When are recordings deleted?
After the student therapist graduates.
What service formats does the clinic offer?
In-person and telehealth.
What platform is used for telehealth?
ECU WebEx.
What ages can the clinic serve?
Clients age 5 and older.
What specialized treatments may be available?
Filial Play Therapy and, depending on semester availability, EMDR.
Does the clinic accept walk-ins?
No, appointment only.
Is the clinic an emergency/crisis mental health service?
No.
Where can clients park?
In the back of the building.
Are students allowed to park in the clinic lot?
No, unless approved by the Clinic Director or clinic assistant.

Income-based sliding scale.

Clinic Director.

Who answers phones and checks clinic email regularly?
Clinic Administrative Assistant and interns.
Who schedules intakes and creates case files in Ensora?
Clinic Administrative Assistant and interns.
Who helps maintain clinic cleanliness and supplies?
Clinic assistants, interns, volunteers.
Who helps open and close the clinic?

Can therapists be alone in the clinic with clients?
No.
Who must be present during sessions besides therapist/client?
An intern, CAT Team member, another student therapist, or approved staff.
