Circulatory system
Is essential for transporting blood, nutrients, oxygen and waste products of the body.
Veins
It returns deoxygenated blood, They have valves to prevent back flow.
Right chamber
Contains deoxygenated blood coming from different parts throughout the body.
Left chamber
Receives oxygenated blood from the lungs.
Blood Vessels
Carries the blood throughout the body.
Capillaries
Are the smallest blood vessels throughout the body.
Arteries
Carry oxygenated blood away from the cells, tissues and organs of the body.

White blood cells
Are cells that defend the body when pathogens intrude, They're also referred as ‘Leukocytes’.
Platelets
They use fibrin, and are cells that minimize bleeding, They are referred as ‘Thrombocytes’
Red blood cells
Are cells that carry oxygen, with hemoglobin (A protein) and are referred as ‘Erythocytes’
Systemic circulation
Movement of blood from the heart to the rest of the body, excluding lungs.
Pulmonary circulation
Movement of blood from the heart to the lungs & back to the heart.
