-There are two references in the image of man, matthew, mark, luke, and john appear in the book of revelations

-The book barely made it in the new testament

-Story where john has a vision with four winged creatures, who are an eagle with wings, a lion with wings, an ox w wings, and a man w wings

-These people were supposed to symbolize the evangelists

-Matthew will be the man, Marks will be a lion, luke will be an ox, and john will be an eagle

-can mean matthews attribute, or it can also refer to what hes writing about, which is the life and believed divinity of jesus of christ, son of god appearing in the image of man

-Moses is behind the curtain, he is someone from the old testament who comes from the hebrew scriptures

-According to the old testament, moses received word from god above, so he had his writing to represent the word of god, which is referred to as the old testament

-His text is closed though, because its been replaced from stuff with the new testament

-Hes been superseded by the four evangelists, so now hes just behind the curtain as a reference, and the curtain is being pulled back to reveal the new testament

-Emphasis on color, setting is a colorful room, matthew fills most of the room bc hes important
