Conversion
An interaction being collected as an event which could be an existing, automatically collected, or a new custom event you create.
Mark as Conversion
Mark an event by toggling the option in the Admin menu under Events.
Google Analytics Reports
Use these to monitor traffic, investigate data, and understand your users and their activity.
Lifecycle Report Collections
Contains reports about acquisition, onsite behavior, and monetization.
User Report Collections
Contains reports on technology and demographic information.
Overview Report
Summarizes information about a topic into several cards, each focusing on a different objective.
Details Report
Lets you drill into one or two dimensions to investigate data in greater detail in a table format.
User Acquisition Report
Shows where users come from when they reach your website or app.
Campaign
The name of the referring Google Ads campaign or a custom campaign that you've created.
Medium
Refers to the origin of the traffic; for example, CPC (cost per click).
Source
Refers to the origin of the traffic; for example, Google.
Session
A way to group user interactions based on when a user engaged with your website or your app.
Traffic Acquisition Report
Focuses on where new sessions come from, regardless of whether the user is new or returning.
Reports
The area in Google Analytics where you can quickly check your core business metrics, then dig deeper into the areas you want to explore.
Library
The location within Google Analytics where you can add pre-created collections or create a new collection of reports.
