Chest pass
Most efficient and effective pass for ball movement.
To get the ball to a teammate when there's no defender in the passing lane.
Overhead pass
To pass over a defender whose hands are down.
Great for skip passes across the court, for outlet passes, or to feed a post.
Shooting
This requires the ability to properly hold and throw the ball into the air toward the basket while avoiding defenders.
Maximum Heart Rate
Refers to the fastest rate at which your heart will beat in one minute.
Target Heart Rate
Is the number of times your heart should beat per minute while exercising.
Target Heart Rate Zone
The range of your THR. It is expressed as a high and low percentage.
Overexertion
Exceeding one's physical limits, which can lead to fatigue and increased risk of injury.
Hydration
The process of maintaining adequate fluid balance in the body to support physiological functions.
Dehydration
A condition that occurs when the body loses more fluids than it takes in, resulting in insufficient water levels.
Hyperthermia
A medical emergency that occurs when the body temperature rises to dangerous levels due to excessive heat exposure or overexertion.
Hypothermia
A condition that results when the body loses heat faster than it can produce it, leading to a dangerously low body temperature.
