Indian Removal Act of 1830

The route taken by Native Americans as they were relocated to Oklahoma; 20-25% perished before reaching Oklahoma

Specie Circular (1836)
An executive order issued by Andrew Jackson requiring payment for government land to be in gold and silver. Led to inflation and rising prices; blamed for the Panic of 1837.
