Thick skin of the hand
Location- palm anterior surface of fingers
All 5 layers if epidermis are found in the thick skin. Contains sweat glands but no hair follicles.
Thin skin
Covers most of the body
Only 4 layers of the epidermis are found in thin skin the stratum lucidum is not present. Contains sweat glands hair follicles and sebaceous glands.
