Lawful transportation of a firearm
In a vehicle, the firearm must be unloaded, with neither the firearm or the ammo readily or directly accessible from the passenger compartment

Warrants issued out of state for individuals we come in contact with at our protective locations or law-enforcement activities (ex: attending White House tour, traffic stop)
False personation of police officer
Any person, not a member of the police force, to falsely, represent himself as being such member, with a fraudulent design
What are police animals?
“Police animal” means a dog, horse, or other animal use by a law-enforcement agency for the purpose of aiding in the detection of criminal activity, enforce laws, or search and rescue efforts
Harassing, interfering with, injuring, or obstructing a police animal
Any person who intentionally harasses, interferes with, injuries, or obstructs a police animal when they have a reason to believe the animal is police animal
Escape
No person shall escape or attempt to escape from any penal institution or facility, or the lawful custody of an officer or employee of the district or United States
Involuntary committals
Happens when a person is a danger to themselves or others. Officers have to articulate what makes the person a danger to society. Must complete a FD-12 and incident report for mental observation. Person is held for 72 hour evaluation
Failure to ID self-pedestrian
A pedestrian who has stopped by a police officer after they have committed an infraction shall be required to inform the officer or other official of their true name and address for the purpose of including that information on a notice of infraction
Failure to exhibit permit
Any individual to whom a license or permit to operate a motor vehicle has been issued shall have the license or permit in his or her immediate possession at all times while operating a motor vehicle in the District of Columbia. Required to show the license or permit to any police officer when asked. (Does not apply when they don’t have their license on their person as long as they provide you with the information needed to complete a notice of infraction)
