Implementation intention

A way of thinking about a goal not just in the abstract sense, but in terms of the precise condition under which they perform a particular action, a behavioural plan will be formed and stored 

Implementation intention:

• The if-then plan becomes WHAT - which increases the likelihood it will continue

Implementation intention:

• The if-then plan becomes AUTOMATIZED - which increases the likelihood it will continue
