Devotion

Whole hearted devotion to Christ and His gospel is a prime requisite

Spirituality

The missionary must be spiritually-minded as opposed to materialistic

Trust

The missionary must trust the Lord to provide all that he needs to accomplish the work he has called him to.

Love

He must first love the Lord and then the people

Ethical

His standards of right and wrong must be biblically based and not pragmatic

Purpose

The missionary must have a vision for the work the Lord has called him to

Discernment

He must be able to see the real issues

Zeal

He must have an inner desire that motivates him when no one else does

Consistency

There are disappointments and discouragements, but they must not keep from doing what the Lord has called you to do

Leadership

Whether the missionary wants to or not they must lead others

It is his will that you be saved

It is his will that you be baptized and a member of a good bible believing church

It is his will that you be filled with the spirit of God

It is His will that you be sanctified

It is His will that you be thankful
