13th amendment

Made in 1865, abolished slavery and involuntary servitude in the US

14th amendment

Made in 1868, it granted citzenship and equal protection to anyone from the US including formerly enslaved people

15th amendment

Made in 1870, it gave Black men the right to vote

Jim Crow Laws:Segregation

basically segregated white and black American’s in businesses, education, and transportation

Black Americans were restricted by poll taxes and even had literacy tests that were required for them to vote

period after the civil war when the federal government worked to rebuild the south and intergarted formely enslaved people into society.
