2. Males will keep their face clean-shaven. Mustaches are permitted but will be neatly trimmed. No portion of the mustache will cover the upper lip line.
Medical authority allows beard growth. Soldiers will keep growth trimmed to the level specified by medical authority.
What is the grooming standards for females with short hair?
No minimum hair length. Bangs may be worn but can not fall below the eyebrows.
What is the grooming standards for females with medium hair?
Medium hair is hair that does not extend beyond the lower edge of the collar. Medium hair may fall naturally in uniform. Layered hairstyles are also authorized.
What is the grooming standards for females with long hair?
Long hair can be worn in a ponytail in all uniforms,, but the length can not exceed the bottom of the shoulder blades. A bun is worn in the back if the head and may extend to a maximum of 3 1/2inches from the scalp but no wider than the width of the head. highlights are authorized must have a natural appearance
What is the grooming standards for braids, cornrows and locs?
Must be worn in the same guidelines of the length of the hair. Must stop at one consistent location of the head and must follow the natural direction of the hair when worn back. May not be styled with designs, sharply curved lines or zigzag lines.
What are the standards regarding earrings.
Can be gold, silver, or diamond cannot exceed 6mm or 1/4 inch
What are the standards regard nail polish?
Males can wear clear nail polish
Females can wear an American manicure, a two tones nail stlye that maintains a natural appearance.
