Why are the people of Rome celebrating in the streets?

They are celebrating Caesar's victory over Pompey and his rise to power.

Flavius and Marullus reprimand the commoners in the street; why do they do this?

They believe the commoners are disloyal for celebrating Caesar's victory over Pompey instead of honoring Pompey.

Who was the ruler of Rome before Caesar?

Pompey

Who is the soothsayer and who/what does he shout from the street?

A soothsayer is a fortune teller and he tells Caesar to beware the Ides of March

Caesar, Antony and Capurnia go off to one side while Bruts and Cassius go off to the other; describe what each party is talking about and what is happening.

Caesar antony and calpurnia are talking about the lupercal and Calpurnia’s lack of having children while the others are discussing how horrible of a leader caesar is and what they should do about it

Cassius, casca and cinna are discussing the weather and how it could mean something bad is about to happen

Brutus’s house, and he is contemplating killing Caesar; he has no reason to not like him, they are freinds

Says it will be too bloody, they will be made out as butchers and not saviors

Cassius and they will kill Caesar

Describe the conversation between Brutus and his wife.

She is sad that he does not confide in him and she thinks that Brutus is unwell

Describe Calpurnia’s dreams. What is the purpose of these dreams?

Caesar’s statue starts to pour out blood and the Romans bathe their hands in it, happily. The purpose of these dreams are to get Caesar to stay home where he wil be safe

Who comes to Caesar's house to convince him what? How does he do that?

Decius and he reinterprets Calpurnia’s dream to something positive to convince him to go to the Senate.

Who writes a letter to Caesar telling him what? Where does he plan to give Caesar the letter?

Artemedorius, telling him to avoid his friends

Why doesn't Caesar stay home with Calpurnia on the Ides of March? (act 3)

He is convinced by Decius to go to the Calpital. Decius says that if he does not go, he will maybe not be crowned and he will be seen as weak

As Caesar approaches the capitol, who tries to intervene his path and what do they say?

Artemdoious, they want to give him the letter

When the conspirators and Caesar are at the capitol, what issue did they bring to the attention of Caesar?

The issue of Metellus Cimbers brother being banished and they want Caesar to bring him back in town

Casca first and then Brutus last

Describe what happens after the stabbing of Caesar.

Everyone in the capital runs away, the conspirators bathe their hands in his blood and tell the public that TRYANNY is over!

Scared, mutaniousm angry because they want to kill the conspirators for killing Caesar

What are these people doing in the beginning of the scene?

Discussing which conspirators should die and how they are going to do war

What is Antony’s opinion of Lepidus?

Thinks he is as studpid as a horse

What do Cassius and Brutus accuse each other of being?

greedy

What grants Brutus a visit and what does he say?

Caesar’s ghost and he says that Brutus is goping to die and they will meet again on the battlefield
