Citizenship
The status of being a citizen, a person who by birth or naturalization enjoys certain rights and has certain duties in a nation-state
14th Amendment
States that all Americans are to be considered US citizens and that states cannot discriminate against them
Naturalization
A legal process through which a person not granted citizenship by birth can become a citizen of that country (By applying for citizenship, taking a civics test, and take an oath)

A society’s framework of shared values, beliefs, and attitudes concerning politics and government
