Complex Numbers
Numbers having the form a+bi, where a is the Real part and b is the Imaginary part.
Real Numbers
Numbers represented as points on the real number line.
Imaginary Numbers
Numbers NOT represented on the real number line, defined as square roots of negative numbers.
Rational Numbers
Numbers that can be expressed as a RATIO of two integers: ba, having terminating or repeating decimals.
Irrational Numbers
Numbers that CANNOT be expressed as a ratio of two integers, having infinite non-terminating, non-repeating decimals.
Integers
Counting numbers, their opposites, and 0.
Non-Integers
Fractions and numbers between the integers.
Whole Numbers
Zero and the natural numbers.
Natural Numbers (Counting)
Positive integers or counting numbers.
Digits
Numbers from which the numerals are made, consisting of {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}.
Even Numbers
Integers divisible by 2; including the number 0.
Odd Numbers
Integers NOT divisible by 2.
Zero
Nothing, None, Nada, Nil, Naught/Nought, Zilch, Zip, Diddly-Squat.
