Primary Sensory Areas
1 for every sense you have
visual cortex, taste area, primary somatic sensory cortex, primary auditory cortex
the first point of processing for incoming sensory information from the body
Association Area
adjacent to a primary sensory area
auditory association area, somatic sensory association area, visual association area
integrating sensory information, interpreting meaning, planning, and decision-making
Prefrontal Area
responding to something, decision making, motivation, emotion behind a response
Premotor Area
Staging part, nerve impulses collected and organized before an action occurs
Primary Command
the primary part of the brain that gives out command to other parts of the body (do, speak, snap, walk, etc)

Speech Areas: Sensory Speech
understanding what your going to say before you say it
Speech Areas: Motor Speech
like the premotor area, except for speech only
