DRI (Dietary Reference Intakes)
Used for planning and assessing diets of healthy people, vary according to life stage and gender, have replaced Recommended Nutrient Intakes (RNIs), promote good health and reduce chronic disease.
DRI- Estimated Average Requirement (EAR)
Macro/Micronutrient: The estimated amount of a nutrient required to meet the needs of 50% of people within a particular sex and life stage group.
DRI- Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)
Macro/Micronutrient: The recommended target intake of a nutrient for an individual.
DRI- Adequate Intake (AI)
Macro/Micronutrient: The recommended specific amount of a nutrient for an individual
DRI- Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL)
Macro/Micronutrient: The maximum daily intake of a nutrient unlikely to cause adverse health effects.

Energy intake recommendation: kcals/energy
DRI- Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range (AMDR)
Energy intake recommendation: Range for healthy intake: Carbohydrate (45-65%), Protein (10-35%), Fat (20-35%)
