A government ruled by one person with absolute power and authority, usually an absolute monarch

The doctrine that monarchs derive their right to rule directly from God, not subject to earthly authority.

A dynasty that ruled Russia from 1613 until the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II in 1917, known for its autocratic governance and significant historical events.

The Emperor of Russia who ruled from 1881 to 1894 and was known for his conservative policies and suppression of dissent.
