Titration
A process used to determine the concentration of a solution by reacting it with a solution of known concentration.
NaOH
Sodium hydroxide, the concentration of which is being determined in this experiment.
HCl
Hydrochloric acid, a solution with a known concentration (0.10 mol/L) used to titrate the NaOH solution.
Fenolftaleïne
An acid-base indicator used to visually determine the endpoint of the titration (when the solution turns colorless).
Buret
A piece of lab equipment used to accurately dispense a variable amount of liquid, essential for titration.
Erlenmeyer flask
A flask used to hold the solution being titrated (NaOH), allowing for swirling without risk of spillage.
Maatkolf
Volumetric flask
Pipet
A tool to measure out liquids
Pipetpomp
A tool used to draw liquid into a pipet
Statief
Stand
Buretklem
Buret clamp
Maatcilinder
Graduated cylinder
