Erik Erikson
A German-American psychologist and psychoanalyst (1902–1994) who developed the Psychosocial Theory of Development, which states that personality develops throughout a person's entire life.
Jean Piaget
A Swiss psychologist (1896–1980) known for his Cognitive Development Theory, who believed that children learn by actively exploring and interacting with their environment.
Lawrence Kohlberg
An American psychologist (1927–1987) who developed the Theory of Moral Development, believing that moral reasoning develops in stages as people mature.
Identity vs. Role Confusion
The 5th stage of Erikson's psychosocial theory (ages 12–18 / Adolescence) centered on the main question 'Who am I?' as individuals explore values, career goals, relationships, and identity.
Formal Operational Stage
Piaget's stage of cognitive development characteristic of most senior high school students, characterized by abstract thinking, problem solving, scientific reasoning, planning, and logical thinking.
Conventional Level
Kohlberg's level of moral development characteristic of most adolescents, characterized by wanting approval, following school rules, respecting authority, and making decisions based on social expectations.

Life Skills

Finite Geometric Series
The sum of a finite number of terms in a geometric sequence, calculated using Sn=1−ra1(1−rn).
Sigma Notation
A mathematical representation using the symbol Σ to express the summation of a sequence of terms from a lower limit to an upper limit.
