Computer hardware and programs, reliable network and internet, secure computing environment, protection from threats, contribute to requirements, reliable systems development, prompt attention, properly prioritized problem fixes, effective training.

User Responsibilities

Learn basic computer skills, standard techniques, follow security and backup procedures, protect passwords, use computers according to policy, make no unauthorized modifications, install only authorized programs, apply software patches when directed, devote time to respond to requests, avoid reporting trivial problems.

Rootkit

Collection of malicious software to enable access but masks its existence.
