Qualitative research

Quantitative research
Research that uses numerical data, statistics, measurements, and numbers to find patterns or trends.
Common law
A legal relationship where two people live together in a committed partnership without being legally married.
Roles
The behaviours and responsibilities expected from a person based on their position in society or a group.
Social institution
An organized system that meets important needs in society, such as family, education, religion, government, and healthcare.
Social norms
Unwritten rules and expectations about how people should behave in a society or group.
Bias
A personal opinion, belief, or preference that can influence how someone views or interprets information.
