Group Dynamics
Refers to any group, including social communities, that has something in common.

Behavioral Theories of Leadership
Based on the belief that great leaders are made, not born and focuses on leaders' actions.
Contingency Theories of Leadership
Focus on particular variables related to the environment that might determine which particular style of leadership is best suited for the situation.
Situational Theories
Propose that leaders choose the best course of action based upon situational variables.
Participative Leadership Theories
Suggest that the ideal leadership style is one that takes the input of others into account.
Management Theories
Also known as transactional theories, focus on the role of supervision, organization, and group performance, based on a system of rewards and punishments.
Relationship Theories
Also known as transformational theories, focus upon the connections formed between leaders and followers to motivate and inspire.
Servant Leadership
A leadership philosophy that prioritizes serving others before leading by focusing on the growth and well-being of their followers rather than accumulating power.
Authentic Leadership
A leadership style that emphasizes self-awareness, transparency, and ethical behavior and focuses on leaders being true to themselves and their values.
Adaptive Leadership
A leadership approach designed to help individuals and organizations navigate complex challenges and change.
Global Leadership Theory
Explores how leaders operate in international and multicultural environments, addressing the complexities of leading across different cultures, economies, and political systems.
Entrepreneurial Leader
A leader who combines the innovative mindset of an entrepreneur with the strategic and organizational skills of a traditional leader.
Enabling Leader
A leader who fosters an environment where individuals and teams can thrive and reach their full potential by empowering others.
Architecting Leader
A leader who focuses on the big picture and creates a blueprint or framework for others to follow.
