Q: Where is the mesentery located?

A: Surrounding and attaching the small intestines to the body wall in the abdominal cavity.

Q: Where are the fat bodies located?

A: In frogs, near the kidneys; they are yellow, finger-like structures.

Q: Where is the brain located?

A: Inside the skull, protected by the cranium.

Q: Where is the epiglottis located?

A: At the top of the larynx, behind the tongue and in front of the esophagus (in pigs).

Q: Where is the glottis located?

A: Behind the tongue, leading to the trachea in the throat.

Q: Where is the cloaca located?

A: At the posterior end of the body in frogs, between the hind legs.

Q: Where are the lungs located?

A: In the thoracic cavity, behind the heart and above the liver.

Q: Where is the heart located?

A: In the center of the thoracic cavity between the lungs.

Q: Where is the diaphragm located?

A: Between the thoracic and abdominal cavities (only in pigs).

A: In the upper abdomen, just beneath the diaphragm or chest cavity.

Q: Where is the gallbladder located?

A: Under the liver, tucked between its lobes.

Q: Where is the tympanic membrane located?

A: On the side of the frog’s head, just behind each eye.

Q: Where are the vomerine teeth located?

A: On the roof of the frog’s mouth, near the midline.

Q: Where is the esophagus located?

A: At the back of the throat, connecting the mouth

Q: Where is the larynx located?

A: At the top of the trachea, just below the pharynx.

Q: Where is the pancreas located?

A: Between the stomach and small intestine, often near the duodenum.

Q: Where are the ovaries located?

A: Near the kidneys, in the dorsal (back) part of the abdominal cavity.

Q: Where are the kidneys located?

A: Against the dorsal body wall, in the upper posterior abdominal cavity.

Q: Where are the testicles located?

A: In pigs: outside the body in the scrotum. In frogs: inside, near the kidneys.

Q: Where are the eyes located?

A: In the head, within the eye sockets (orbits).

Q: Where is the small intestine located?

A: In the central portion of the abdominal cavity, connected to the stomach.

Q: Where is the large intestine located?

A: In the lower abdomen, following the small intestine and leading to the rectum.

Q: Where is the spleen located?

A: Near or underneath the stomach, in the left side of the abdominal cavity.
