a system responsible for chemical co-ordination and regulation of various activities in the body through the bloodstream from endocrine glands
Homeostasis
a process of maintaining a constant internal environment within the body

chemical messengers that travel throughout the bloodstream and cause an effect elsewhere in the body

operate in the body to detect changes or imbalances in the internal environment and restore balance
