Substance Dualism
A theory claiming that humans are composed of two substances: an extended material sensing substance (body) and an unextended immaterial thinking substance (mind).
Pineal Gland
A part of the brain where all nerve strands from the body terminate, facilitating the connection between mind and body.

Ideas in the mind, which result from the sensation process in the brain.
