mesons are compostie particles made of quarks, a meson consists of a quark anti quark pair all mesons are unstable and quickly decay

What is the Higgs Boson particle?
It is a fundimental particle that determines the mass of the other fundimental particles based on how it interacts with the Higgs field. if it moves slowly through the Higgs field it is heavy, if it moves faster it is lighter.
