What is antiparallel mean?
strands face opposite direction
What does 5’ and 3’ mean?
it refers to the numbered carbons of the deoxyribose. 5’ is at the top connected to the nucleotides phosphates whereas 3’ is at the bottom and forms a phosphodiester bonds with the next nucleotide phosphate
